<p>PURPOSE:To execute partial erasing of a picture by a blackboard eraser or the like at an input time and to make its erasing operation easy by forming the 3rd and 4th electrode groups independently of a parallel electrode group for detecting an input position. CONSTITUTION:The 3rd parallel electrode groups Q1-QR are formed on an insulating substrate 1 in addition to the 2nd parallel electrode groups Y1-YN, their intervals are selected so as to be smaller than a half of the size of the blackboard eraser and larger than the size of an input point of a felt pen or the like and the whole electrodes are covered with an insulating substance. The 4th parallel electrode groups P1-PL are also formed in the 1st parallel electrode group X. Consequently, the 1st and 2nd electrode groups X, Y used for the detection of input position X and Y coordinates in combination with a resistor and the new 3rd and 4th electrode groups P, Q are used for the discrimination between the input mode and the partial erasing mode. If a press input is applied by the blackboard eraser or the like, the line between the 1st and 2nd groups 51, 52 in the 4th electrode group is conducted and the conduction is detected by a partial erasing mode detecting circuit 53 to determine the partial erasing mode.</p> |
