CAN CONTAINING AMOUNT INCREASING/DECREASING APPARATUS FOR SLIVER IN SPINNING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To automate the step lifting of delivery cans in a spinning machine having a full can stop device or a cans replacing device while to eliminate the residual sliver in tapering of following process machine by additional providing a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A pulse transmitter PS for transmitting pulse signals related to the feeding amount of spinning sliver is provided to a calender roller 10 arranged in the downstream of front roller 9 of tractive section in spinning machine such as drawing frame. Then the output pulses are counted through preset counter PC2 to produce the referential can containing amount signal for spinning sliver under step lifting for every setting. On the basis of said, referential signal, can containing amount signal for every step lifting is produced from read-out counter 12 while cans replacing time signal is produced from read-out counter 14 thus to produce step lift signal of delivery sequence from step lift command means 13 on the basis of both signals.
