AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDING/DISCHARGING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of document tray considerably by constructing such that the document completed of copying can be discharged into at least single stage of idle tray thereby employing such number of document trays as equal to the maximum number of document plus 1 and eliminating the collecting tray. CONSTITUTION:Automatic document feeder/discharger A to be arranged at one side of copying machine 2 is provided with multi-stage document trays T0-T5 where the document on each tray T0-T5 is taken out one by one through rollable document feed starting rollers R0-R5 and fed through document carrying means 12 and carrying belt 16 onto the document table 17. The document carrying means 12 comprises a vertical carry belt 26 where guide chips G0-G5 and rotary clicks K0-K5 for discharging the document completed of copying to selected one of said trays T0-T5 are arranged on a guide plate 32 laid at one side. Consequently, the document completed of copying is discharged into idle tray T0-T5.
