<p>A narrow band telephone network and a wide band video telephone network are incorporated into the integrated system. Each subscriber has allocated a telephone number for forming connections in the telephone network. The exchanges (V1,V2) of the integrated system are fitted with an allocation circuit (ZS). The latter provides for each video telephone subscriber an allocation between his telephone number and a video telephone number for his connection forming. - The video telephone number can be interrogated from the allocation circuit via the telephone network (FN). Pref. the allocation circuit for all subscribers of a telephone exchange (V1) is centrally located in this exchange. Alternatively the circuit may be located in the exchange control (ST1). It may be contained in the subscriber connecting circuit (M1) of the exchange.</p> |
