<p>The process comprises reaction of a halogenated deriv.. of formula (II) where X is a Cl or Br atom with a sec. amine (III) where R is (1-6)C lower alkyl gp. The reaction is carried out in a solvent such as toluene at between 60 and 140 deg.C and in the presence of a carbonate or bicarbonate. The inorganic salts are finally sepd. by pptn. in water or filtration, the prod. of general formula (I) being isolated by vacuum distn.</p> |
