<p>A railway wagon for carrying bulk material has trap doors in the floor through which the contents are discharged. These trap doors are opened and closed by hydraulic cylinders (30) which are supplied with hydraulic fluid at pressure from a hydraulic accumulator (34). - The hydraulic accumulator is kept fully charged by a pump (36) which is driven from one of the wagon axles. The pump delivers the hydraulic fluid through a pipe fitted with a non-return valve and a pressure limiting valve.</p> |
