摘要 The length of yarn required to form a standard row of stitches during one pass of the knitting machine slide is taken as the reference length for a reference row. During normal knitting, the yarn length taken for knitting a row of stitches is compared with the reference length. The knocking-over sinker is raised to reduce the stitch density if the measured length is too short, and lowered to increase stitch density if the length is too long. The used yarn length is measured and compared with the reference length until they match. - A pulse coder measures the knitted yarn length in the reference stretch, and a pulse motor moves the knocking-over sinker according to a drive signal to adjust stitch density. The mechanism has a pulse motor, with a cam on the motor shaft to engage one of two surfaces on a lifter sliding in a base plate. Two swing levers pivot on the base plate to engage the other lifter surface and limit stops on the slide, to move forwards and back. A slide limit stop on the base plate gives the right and left movement, with the knocking-over sinkers attached to the lower ends of the slides for the downwards sinker movement. - The process allows the stitch density to be controlled on a flatbed knitter. (1/3) DEAB- DE3344667 C The installation is for the adjustment of the knitting density of a knitted product in the cambox of a knitting machine through adjusting the height of one of two cam sections located on a base plate. The stepped engine for the effecting of the height adjustment is controlled by the output signal of a comparator connected to a yarn length measuring device. The comparator compares the yarn length during the knitting process along a scanned stretch in the carriage stroke direction to a specific yarn reference length. A hoisting sinker can be shifted through a cam which is adjusted by the stepped engine and permits the adjustment of the appropriate cam section against the force of a spring. The adjustment takes place via a swivel lever mounted on the base plate.
