<p>A compsn. for treating psoriasis comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable non-toxic carrier and naphthalene derivs. of formula (I) (R1=1-12C alkoxy, 1-12C alkylthio, phenoxy or phenylthio opt. substd. by 1 or 2 of 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or halo; R2=H, 1-6C alkyl, phenyl or phenylalkyl, opt. substd. by 1 or 2 of 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or halo; R3=1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy or halo; m=0-2 or R3 is opt. substd. phenyl, opt. substd. phenyl lower alkyl, opt. substd. phenyl lower alkoxy, amino, lower alkylamino, lower dialkylamino, CN or S(O)nR where R is 1-6C alkyl, opt. substd. phenyl, opt. substd. phenyl lower alkyl or heterocyclic aryl of 3-9 ring atoms contg. 1 or 2 of N, O or S; the heterocyclic aryl is opt. substd. by 1 or more of lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halo or CN and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addn. salts thereof; and m=1 and n=0-2.
