Detergent compsns. comprise: (a) one or more anionic, cationic, ampholytic and/or zwitterionic surfactants; (b) at least one phosphate builder salt; (c) at least one other builder; (d) at least one ''structure salt'', esp. Na2SO4; (e) at least one soluble salt of a copolymer of a 3-5C alpha, beta-unsatd. monocarboxylic acid and a 4-6C unsatd. dicarboxylic acid in which the COOH gps. are sepd. by a C=C double bond; and (f) at least one soluble salt of an amino polycarboxylic acid of formula R3N(CH2COOH)2 (where R3 = CH2COOH or (CH2CH2NR4)nR5; R4 = CH2COOH; R5 = CH2COOH or hydroxyalkyl; n = 1-3).
