<p>Toner comprises (a) a styrene-butadiene copolymer resin (I), (b) pigment particles, and (c) a charge-enhancing additive (II). The (I) comprises 92-97% of a styrene-butadiene copolymer (III) and 3-8 wt.% of a plasticiser (IV), the (III) having a wt. ave. mol. wt. of 45,000-155,000 and a number ave. mol. wt. of 7000-25,000, the copolymer contg. 85-93 wt.% styrene and 7-15 wt.% butadiene. - Pref. compsn. contains 40- 94.50 wt.%, esp. 93 wt.% (a), 5-60 wt.%, esp. 6 wt.% (b) and 0.5-5, esp. 1 wt.% (c), and (I) pref. contains 95 wt.% styrene-butadiene copolymer and 5 wt.% plasticiser.</p> |
