<p>PURPOSE:To enable the change-over of the thickness of a printed character and to reduce erroneous typing, in an electronic typewriter, by performing input by a two-stage stroke type character input key for performing usual character typing by one-stage operation and thick character typing by two-stage operation. CONSTITUTION:The keyboard switch of an electronic typewriter, which is constituted of a keyboard for inputting a typing character, a data confirming part 12 for confirming switch input data, a typing mechanism control part 13 for emitting a control signal and a typing mechanism part 14 performing typing operation, is formed of a two-stage stroke type character input key 11 and, in such a state that one-stage operation is performed, the data confirming part confirms switch input data so as to perform typing in usual thickness to supply the confirmed data to the printing mechanism control part and the typing mechanism performs typing on the basis of said data. In such a state that two-stage operation is performed, a thick character is confirmed in the same way to perform typing.</p> |
