PURPOSE:To obtain a heat developable photosensitive novel material superior in stability for a long period capable of forming an image high in density and low in fog in a short time by incorporating a specified basic precursor in a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The basic precursor represented by the formula shown here is used in an amt. of <=50wt% of the dried coat weight of the photosensitive material, and image density can be especially enhanced by using it together with a photosensitive silver halide emulsion. Spectral sensitization is executed by using a methine dye or the like. The photosensitive material is prepared by coating, e.g., a polyethylene terephthalate with such a coating compsn. in a wet film thickness of 60mum and drying it. In the formula, R is alkyl, alkylene, aryl, arylene, or uni- or bivalent heterocyclic group, X, Y are each a substituent, but both are not simultaneously H, B is mono-or di-acidic base, and each of l, m and n is 1 or 2 and each is a function having such relation to each other as balancing positive and negative electron charge units. |
