PURPOSE:To prevent a toner surface on paper from being scraped off without lossing the peeling function of the paper by peeling off the leading end of the paper by a peeling claw and then peeling the paper peeled at its leading end by a guide member provided with a paper peeling part having a wide contact width with the paper instead of the peeling claw. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of fixed paper 3 discharged from a heat roll 1 and a pressure roll 2 is peeled off at first by the leading end peeling part of the peeling claw 4 pressed against the surface of the heat roll 1. The leading end of the peeled-off paper 3 presses an actuator arm 6 in accordance with the rotation of the heat roll 1 to move the arm 6 up to a position shown by a solid line and turn on a switch 15 of a solenoid 14 for moving a guide plate 5. The solenoid 14 moves the guide plate 5 downwards, so that the positional relation between the leading end peeling part of the peeling claw 4 and a paper peeling part 8 of the guide plate 5 is reversed. Thereafter, the paper 3 is peeled off from the heat roll 1 by the action of the paper peeling part 8 of the guide plate 5. |
