PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of manufacture and to reduce manufacturing cost in response to the change of the specifications of a transformer by forming a mold heat curing a tape impregnated with heat curing resin and wound around a coil. CONSTITUTION:A coil 3 is wound over an insulation material 2 around a bobbin 1 and on all the surface of the coil 3, an insulation tape 7 impregnated with half-hardened state heat curing synthetic resin is wound being partially overlapped. The total tape 7 is heated and hardened, and a mold adhered closely to the external surface of the coil 3 is made integrally connecting the overlapped portions. The coil 3 is placed on a flat plate 5, a sealing material 8 such as paraffin or adhesives is prepared, synthetic resin for molding is poured from the inlet 6 of the flat plate 5 in a vacuum tank and the coil 3 is finished. This dispenses with the requirement of a metal mold of different dimensions and a different shape. |
