PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise by providing a flexible shaft formed by a magnetic material and a flexible pipe, at least a portion of which is formed by a magnetic material, and magnetizing at least either the shaft or the pipe axially or radially. CONSTITUTION:A flexible shaft 3 is formed by a steel wire rod. A flexible pipe for storing the shaft comprises a liner 8 formed by a resin material or combination of special form metals, a steel wire rod 9 wound round the outer periphery of the liner 8 for improving the rigidity of the flexible pipe itself, and a resin coating material 10 for coating the outer periphery of the liner 8 and the steel wire rod 9. Further, a protector 11 having a magnetic substance 12 in the axial direction is disposed on the outer periphery of the resin coating material 10. Accordingly, the magnetic force is applied to the flexible shaft 3 by magnetizing the magnetic substance 12 in such a manner as to axially have N-pole and S-pole, so that the flexible shaft 3 always contacts the liner 8 on the magnetic substance 12 side. |
