APPARATUS FOR COLTROLLING SPEED CHANGE RATIO OF TOROIDAL TYPE NON-STAGE TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To control accurately speed change ratio by correcting non-linear relationship between the inclination of a power roller and the speed change ratio with a desired inclination or the signal of an inclination detector in a toroidal type non-stage transmission. CONSTITUTION:A desired inclination Er is corrected to linearize an actual inclination theta and the speed change ratio R by an inclination detector 12 for detecting the inclination theta of a power roller 4 of a trunion 6 in a toroidal type non-stage transmission T and a control unit C so that the speed change ratio R of said transmission T follows up accurately a predetermined speed change ratio based upon throttle opening, economic power mode and shift positon detection signal. Thus, load torque in the rotary input side can be prevented from fluctuation.
