<p>PURPOSE:To prevent data processing system-down due to an error of a service processor by allowing the service processor to apply initial processing to the own control storage and restore the error if the error occurs in the service processor. CONSTITUTION:If the error takes place in the service processor 2, an FF in the processor 2 is set and it is informed to a central processor 1 via an error display line 11. The microprogram of the central processing decides whether or not the service processor 2 is to be assisted depending on the criterion of the processing state of the job. When it is decided to the assisted, an FF commanding for initialization to the service processor 2 is set and it is in formed via an initializing command processing line 12. According to the command, the control storage in the service processor 2 is initialized by its storage control circuit.</p> |
