<p>PURPOSE:To reduce noises spread from the wall surface of a water pipe by supporting the water pipe by means of supports arranged to correspond to the nodal point of a stationary wave caused by pressure-pulsating waves of pump discharge water. CONSTITUTION:A water pipe 2 is supported by a wall face 4 and a support 5 with buffer materials 57 such as hard rubber between. The wall face 4 and the support 5 are positioned at nodal points 61 of a stationary wave caused by the reflection of the pullsating pressure contained in pump discharge water by a meeting pipe 3. Since vibrations are the lowest in supporting positions of the wall face 4 and the support 5, vibrations given to the wall face 4 are also the lowest. Besides, various good effects are given by the use of buffer materials 57 to support the water pipe 2. For example, vibrations from the water pipe 2 are absorbed and reduced by the buffer materials 57.</p> |
