PURPOSE:To collect soot sufficiently and eliminate cold draft in winter by a method wherein a double hood, whose blow-off port is faced to the suction port of a fan, is provided above the fan. CONSTITUTION:The blow-off port of the double hood 3, provided above the fan 2 and communicating with the outside of a room, is faced to the suction port of the fan 2. When the fan 2 is operated to discharge the soot generated by a gas range or the like, the open air is induced. In this case, the open air, induced through the double hood 3, is blown off toward the suction port of the fan 2 at the top end thereof. The fan 2 discharges the open air to the outside of the room and therefore, air curtain is produced between the top end of the double hood 3 and the suction port of the fan 2 and the ambient air is induced. Soot collecting efficiency may be improved and cold draft in winter can be eliminated by providing such double hood. |
