Apparatus for the production of casting moulds

The apparatus for the production of casting moulds contains a movable sand slinger (2) and a reversing and extracting device (3) which are combined by means of a common frame (1). The reversing device is designed in the form of two discs (4) which are spaced from one another and which are provided with a drive for rotating the reversing and extracting device (3) in the vertical plane relative to its horizontal axis. Fastened rigidly between the discs (4) are roller-table sections (11, 12), between which a double-sided pattern plate (13) having an upper and a lower pattern device (14) is arranged. The extracting device contains power cylinders (16) for displacing the plate (13) together with the pattern devices (14). Constructed on the frame (1) are two edge roller tables (18, 19), via which the empty moulding boxes are supplied and the moulded-in moulding boxes are discharged. The presence of a two-sided pattern plate (13) increases productivity and guarantees operating reliability.
