<p>The attachment is for a removable partial dental prosthesis, having one side (f1) fixed to the latter and the other (1) to a tooth. The slide on the prosthesis has a cylindrical body turning on an axis inclined to the direction of movement of the retainer. The latter comprises a small cylindrical head or tappet (16). Rotation of the body in either direction together with intervening spring components acting in opposition exerts a greater or lesser retaining force.</p> |
