PURPOSE:To make a metal die exchanging work highly efficient by providing plural pin holes corresponding to the pin which is fitted to the mobile part of the lower die of the metal die on the bolster to which a metal die is installed and by arranging a die cushion respectively on these pin holes. CONSTITUTION:Die cushion pins 10' having the same lengths are inserted into all through holes 11 with fitting an extension pin 12 on the mobile part 4 of each lower die 3 and with providing plural die cushion pin through holes 11 corresponding to the pin 12 on the bolster 2 in the press machine where plural sets of the upper and lower dies 7, 3 are freely replaced and fitted. In case of the press work, when a slide 6 is subjected to a rolling reduction with placing a plank on the lower die 3, the upper die 7 and a crease presser 4 press around the plank and further push up the upper die 7 against the pushing up force of the die cushion 8. The replacement work of a die cushion pin is thus disused in case of metal die exchange and the metal die exchange work is made efficient remarkably. |
