PURPOSE:An antitumor agent containing a 5-fluorohexahydropyrimidine and a pyrimidine nucleic acid base and a riboside thereof. CONSTITUTION:An antitumor agent, containing a compound expressed by the formula (R<1> is lower alkyl; R<2> is H or lower alkyl), e.g. ethyl 5-fluoro-4-[(Z)- furfurylideneaminoxy]-2,6-dioxohexahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylate, and a pyrimidine nucleic acid base and/or a riboside thereof at 1:>=0.5, preferably 1:>=1- <=15 molar ratio between the components, and having remarkably enhanced effect thereof. The dosage form thereof is an oral agent, e.g. powder or tablet, or a parenteral agent, e.g. suppository or injection. The dose is preferably 5- 600mg per administration unit for the oral agent, 5-300mg per administration unit for the injection and 10-800mg per administration unit for the suppository. The above-mentioned respective components may be separately administered, but preferably incorporated previously and administered at the same time. |
