PURPOSE:To prevent unexpected automobile drive by connecting electrically a control circuit and an actuator when a set which is turned on after a main switch is turned on to reduce the generation of an unnecessary automatic constant speed running control. CONSTITUTION:When the main switch 8 is turned on, a power is applied to a control circuit 5 and when the set switch 9 is turned on succeedingly, a contact 102 is closed and contacts 104, 71 are closed. A signal SET is applied to the circuit 5 at the same time, the circuit 5 fetches present car speed data of a car speed sensor 6 to a built-in memory and a contact 73 is closed. As a result, the circuit 5 and the actuator 4 are connected electrically to attain automatic constant speed control. In order to release the control, a release switch 11 is turned on. In this case, a signal RESET is applied to the circuit 5, resulting in opening the contact 73, and the circuit 5 and the actuator 4 are disconnected electrically. |
