PURPOSE:To obtain a tinned material preventing the formation of whiskers for a long period by tinning an alloy consisting of specified percentages of Ni and Cu. CONSTITUTION:Ni, a Cu-Ni alloy consisting of 19-<100% Ni and the balance Cu, an Sn-Ni or Cu-Sn-Ni alloy consisting of 21-95.5% Ni, 4.5-5.7% Sn and the balance Cu, or a Zn-Ni or Cu-Zn-Ni alloy consisting of 5-91% Ni, 9-13% Zn and the balance Cu are used as a base metal and tinned. A tinned material capable of preventing the formation of whiskers is obtd. |
