PURPOSE:To improve the versatility of one unit of device by selecting surging motion and weaving motion according to the material, wall thickness, required weld strength, etc. of works thereby changing over efficient welding and broad build-up welding. CONSTITUTION:Cone clutches 19, 19' are constituted on both sides in the axial center direction of a shift gear 18 which is meshed and interlocked with and to a DC motor 16 via a gear 17. A linear head torque motor 20 which slides the gear 18 in the axial center direction so as to engage and disengage selectively and oppositely the clutches 19. 19' is provided. The clutches 19, 19' are thereupon selectively engaged and disengaged by the motor 20, by which a welding torch 4 is changed over as desired to the surging motion and the weaving motion. |
