PURPOSE:To set surely a workpiece to a prescribed position by providing a centering mechanism which grasps the bottom end of the work carried into the device by a loading hand to the side part of a base metal and retreats after matching the work to the recess for attaching the work. CONSTITUTION:The automatic positioning device for work is provided wth the recess 2 for attaching the work to fit the end of the work A atop the base metal 1 for supporting the work in order to subject the work to a filling treatment, conveys the work A by the loading hand 15 onto the metal 1 and fits the work into the recess 2. The centering mechanism 3 which grasps the botton end of the work A carried into the device by the hand 15 to the side part of said metal 1 and retreats after matching the work into the recess 2 is provided to said device. A pushing down jig which retreats after pushing down the top end of the work A matched by the mechanism 3 is further provided thereto. |
