The subject-matter of the invention is a ski binding, in particular for cross-country skiing, which consists of a baseplate (1) with elevations (13) and lateral guide jaws (12). A clamping bar (2) serves for clamping the edge of the boot sole against the baseplate (1) on which an adjustable hook (3) is provided. The hook (3) has a head (32) with a locking catch (321) which points downwards and corresponds to a closing tooth (22).
