PURPOSE:To detect surely a fault without requiring addition and change of the hardware by raising an alarm if no power is disconnected regardless that a program issues a power interruption instruction. CONSTITUTION:An electronic computer system 10 reads an instruction to an instruction controller 12 according to various programs stored in a memory 11 and executes the processing. When the power interruption instruction is issued by the program according to the end of job, the controller 12 outputs a command of power interruption to a power supply interruption device 13, the device 13 interrupts the power 16 applied to a system 10 to stop the operation of system. If the power supply is not interrupted even after a prescribed time is elapsed due to hardware failure, an alarm instruction is issued from the program, an alarm device ringing is commanded to an alarm driver 14 by the device 12 to ring the alarm device 15. |
