<p>PURPOSE:To select easily and accurately a menu on a tablet face and display screen by detecting a coordinate when the 1st switch is turned on and applying specific operation command to a CPU to the detected coordinate when the 2nd switch is turned on. CONSTITUTION:A pen 12 is moved to a region of an English letter and HIRAGANA (round form of Japanese syllabary) in a tablet menu region, the pen is depressed to turn on the 2nd switch of a 2-stage switch 14 so as to allow a CPU to convert the detected coordinate at that time into a character code and input it. The command input such as erasure/deletion/insertion/input is executed by moving the pen 12 to the corresponding region in the tablet menu region similarly to turn on the 2nd switch. In designating a character string due to copy/ retrieval/modification, the pen 12 is given in the screen corresponding region to turn on the 1st switch of the 2-stage switch 14 so as to attain coordinate detection. The pen 12 is moved in the screen corresponding region and a graphic cursor is moved to an optional character string. The pen 12 is depressed to turn on the 2nd switch to allow the CPU 17 to convert the detected corrdinate to a coordinate point of a graphic cursor on a display screen for input.</p> |
