PURPOSE:To provide a titled device with injects stably a molten sample from a nozzle in quick roll-cooling of the molten meterial under atmosphere control by heating and melting uniformly the material in the metallic nozzle cooled with water in the upper part from respectively different directions thereby thinning thoroughly the layer solidified by contact with the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The high-melting sample 2 of, for example, >=2,000 deg.C imposed on the nozzle port 3 of the water-cooled metallic nozzle 1 in an atmosphere controlled chamber is uniformly heated and melted by melting devices 4 from respectively different directions. The devices 4 may be any of an arc type, plasma type, electrom beam type and laser beam type. The layer solidified by contact with the nozzle 2 is thoroughly thinned and the molten material 2 is stably injected from the nozzle port 3. |
