METHOD OF PRESERVING ORGAN AND APPARATUS FOR PRESERVING THE SAME

A method of preservation of an organ permitting preservation in a frozen state in which the organ is first perfused with a uniformly blood-perfusing liquid while lowering it to a first temperature above the solidifying temperature of the liquid, secondly is perfused with a refrigerating defect preventing liquid while lowering it to a second temperature above the solidifying temperature of the defect preventing liquid, and thirdly is perfused with a low solidification temperature liquid while lowering its temperature to a point at or above the solidifying temperature of the low solidification temperature liquid.
