PURPOSE:To improve the image contrast of a transferred image by providing a photosensitive element and image receiving element and a processing element between the two elements and providing a photographic layer contg. a white pigment at a specific volumetric content between the base of the above-described elements and the image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer having a silver halide emulsion layer is formed on a base and the image receiving layer contg. at least a neutralizing layer and image receiving layer in this order is formed on another base. A processing element contg. an alkaline processing liquid is developed between these two elements to constitute the above-mentioned product. The surface coated with the silver halide emulsion layer and the surface coated with the image receiving layer of the photosensitive element and the image receiving element are separated prior to exposure. Both elements are superposed on the above-mentioned surfaces in the stage of processing after the exposure. The photosensitive element is separated from the image receiving element after the formation of the transferred image and the transferred image is observed from the image receiving layer side. At least one photographic layer incorporated therein with the white pigment at >=40vol% content is provided between the base of the above-mentioned image receiving element and the image receiving layer of the above- mentioned system. The whiteness is increased and the min. photographic density is decreased by providing such white pigment layer to the image receiving layer. The image contrast is thus improved. |
