PURPOSE:To achieve suitable the shaping of a tyre by a method in which the bag like article capable of expansion having an aperture-part is fitted to the side of a top force, and the upper bead part of a green tyre is tightly held at the bag like article, while expanding said bag like article at the process of the closing operation of a press. CONSTITUTION:The edge of the aperture end of a bag like article made of rubber capable of expansion and having one aperture-portion, is fixed to the inner diametrical part of the platen 14 of a top force 12 engagably and detachably, and the bottom part 16 of a bag like article is faced to the side of a bottom force 13. The pipe arrangement 17 of air and vacuum connected to the inside of the bag like article 10 is provided, passing through the fixing axis 18 of the platen and a top ring 19, and is connected to an air source and a vacuum source. The top force 12 is caused to be in contact with the bottom force 13, and pressed. The air in the bag like article 10 is evacuated, and said article 10 is shrunk. Then vulcanizing agent is directly supplied into a green tyre and vulcanization is achieved. |
