PURPOSE:To secure a satisfactory head touch by obtaining the 2nd head core by coating a magnetic material to a part of the 1st magnetic core having the 1st head gap via a gap material used to the 2nd head gap. CONSTITUTION:The 1st magnetic head core 13 has the 1st head gap, and a magnectic material is coated to a part of the core 13 via a gap material to be used to the 2nd head gap 17. Thus the 2nd magnetic head core 16 is produced with a thin film. Then the gaps 14 and 17 are used for erasion and recording/reproduction respectively in order to secure erasion with the width larger than a recording track. This avoids the miserasion and furthermore secures a satisfactory head touch owing to a close distance between both gaps 14 and 17. |
