PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the occurrence of damage and accidents of buried materials by a method in which paired cells consisting of the excavating blade and the earthing portion of an excavator equipment are provided, and when the excavating blade comes into contact with a buried material during the excavation period, a stop signal for excavation is sent out of the detector. CONSTITUTION:An electric ire 3 leading to a detector 2 is connected to the excavating blade 1 of an excavator equipment A to make the blade 1 one detecting cell. An earthing portion 4 leading to the detector 2 is also used as the other detecting cell. A given current flowing between the blade 1 and the earthing portion 4 as detecting cells is detected by the detector 2 to send out a stop signal for excavation. When the blade 1 comes into contact with a conductive buried material 5 during the excavation, an electric current flows between the blade 1 and the earthing portion 4 through the buried material 5, and a stop signal for excavation is sent out of the detector 2 to stop the excavation. |
