PURPOSE:To measure a heat insulating property showing the high correlativity with the heat insulating property at a time when clothing is actually prepared, by arranging a specimen in a heating box, which has a radiation sheet with a radiation ratio of 0.8 or more provided to one surface thereof of which the interior is thermostatic, through the air layer on the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A heating box 1, of which one surface comprises a radiation sheet of which the radiation ratio is set to 0.8 or more by the coating of a black paint and which has a heat flow sensor 4 and consists of a metal, a metal- containing polymer sheet and genuine leather, is provided. A heating medium is put in a heating body 3 and a heater and a thermostat are arranged therein to hold the heating box 3 to constant temp. Further, a hermetically closing means for making four side wall surfaces of the heating box 3 higher than the surface of the sheet 1 is provided in order to prevent the open air from flowing into the air layer with a thickness of about 0-50mm. between the sheet 1 and a specimen 2. By this method, the heat insulating property having high correlativity with the heat insulating property at a time when clothing is prepared can be measured in a plane state. |
