PURPOSE:To improve starting properties of an engine and emission, by a method wherein, when it is decided that the feed from a battery is disconnected, the renewal speed of a learning value is increased only during a given period after the starting of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In a step P1 in which the starting is effected with a key switch turned ON, it is decided whether a stanby flag F1 is zero or not. Once a battery is removed, YES dicision is effected. In a step P2, 1 is set in a flag F2 in order to increase a learning speed, in a step P3, 1 is set in the stanby flag F1, and in a step P4, an initial value IV is set as a learning value PG. This, when the feed from a battery is disconnected, causes increasing of a learning speed, resulting in the possibility to improve starting properties of an engine and emission. |
