The present invention relates to a spill-proof portioning device or a vessel for substantially liquid substances, having a reception chamber 2 intended for the said substance, and also to a process for production of the same. The device has an outer chamber 3 which substantially surrounds the said reception chamber 2 and is intended for collection of any spilt substances and which is arranged to communicate at least partially with the reception chamber 2. The portioning device or the vessel can be constituted by a plate 1 but other configurations are also conceivable, for example a bowl, a pouring spout, a coffee cup or the like. Production is expediently effected by the manufacture of a first, bowl-shaped part in one piece, comprising the base 4 of the device having an upwardly directed edge 5 connected to the outer wall 6 of the outer chamber 3, and by the manufacture of a second, annular part in one piece, comprising the inwardly sloping wall 7 of the outer chamber 3 connected to a downwardly directed edge 8, the two parts being joined together by the inner surface of the upwardly directed edge 5 being brought into contact with and preferably fastened to the outer surface of the downwardly directed edge 8. <IMAGE> |
