PURPOSE:To raise the operational convenience, and prevent an error in the operation, by making it possible that a tray for an interruptive original is inserted when an original feeding roller is in its withdrawn position, and at the same time, setting an insertion detecting means, in a device as shown in the title, of such as a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:When it is intended that an interruptive original is inserted, an interruptive sheet feeding mode is prepared by operating an interruption key which is not shown in the figure. In case that a sensor 11 does not detect an original, an original feeding roller 2 moves to its restorational position 2b, and it becomes possible that a tray 4 for an interruptive original is inserted. When the tray 4 is inserted and sensors 5 detect this matter, the said roller 2 moves to the position 2c shown as a real line in the figure, where the roller 2 is pressed against the interruptive original sheet 16, and conveys this sheet 16. When the said tray 4 is pulled out and the sensors 5 detect this matter, the roller 2 begins conveying the original sheets 15 set in their regular position, again. In this way, it becomes easy to insert an interruptive original sheet, and an error in the operation can be prevented. |
