PURPOSE:To release pressure contacting state between the paper feed roller and paper in an automatic paper feeder for printer by constructing such that the separation click can be pushed down. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of the paper feed roller shaft 2 counterclockwise through rotation of platen shaft not shown, sleeves 30, 31 will rotate to rotate a cam 32 counterclockwise because of the winding direction of a spring clutch 33 thereby the end of cam 32a will push down a separation click 7 together with a paper 5 thus to colloide a lever 33a against a stopper 37 and stop. Under this state, the paper 5 is separated from the paper feed roller 1. Upon rotation of the paper feed roller 1 clockwise through reverse rotation of the platen shaft, each section will function reversely to pressure contact the paper feed roller 1 and the paper 5. With such arrangement, the pressure contact/release mechanism between the paper feed roller and the paper can be simplified. |
