PURPOSE:To enhance heat and light fastness of a color image by incorporating a specified cyan coupler in an emulsion layer formed at the position farthest from a light source used for observation, and another specified cyan coupler in at least one of the other emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion layer situated at the farthest position from the observation light source among two or more silver halide emulsion layers having substantially same color sensitivity contains at least one of cyan couplers represented by formula I, and at least one layer of the rest of such emulsion layers contains at least one of cyan couplers represented by formula II to form a silver halide photographic sensitive material. In these formulae, each of R1, R2, and R4 is an aliphatic, aromatic, or heterocyclic group; each of R3, R5, and R7 is H or the like; R6 is an aliphatic group or the like; each of Z1 and Z2 is H or the like; and n is 0 or 1. |
