PURPOSE:To reliably and stably accomplish filament guide operation and filament hooking operation to a filament running at a speed of more than 3,000m/ min, preferably more than 4,500m/min by specifying the ratio of the aperture of a fluid jet to the inside diameter of a discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:An inflow port of a discharge pipe 3 for discharging a fluid and a filament is disposed opposite to a jet of a nozzle 5 for jetting a filament pressure fluid. In this case, as a jet fluid, used is a high-pressure liquid having pressure of 80kg/cm<2>G. The inside diameter D of the discharge pipe 3 is specified at a value more than 1.25 times as large as the aperture (d) of a jet of the nozzle 5 and less than 4.5 times as large as that of the jet of the nozzles, so that filament leading operation and filament hooking operation can be accomplished reliably for a filament running at a high speed more than 3,000m/min, preferably more than 4,500m/min. |
