The reduction gears device, of the epicyclic type, comprises at least one satellite gear 6 proper, on the one hand for describing an orbit around a main shaft A and, on the other hand, for rotating about a satellite shaft 7. This shaft 7 is mounted on a satellite carrier 12 which can rotate about the main shaft A. The satellite carrier 12 comprises two transverse flanges 13, 14 so as to form a casing in which the satellite or satellites 6 is or are housed. At least one of the flanges 13 comprises longitudinal branches 15 capable of extending parallel to the shaft A into the zones which are not occupied by the satellites, and of ensuring fastening of the other flange 14. <IMAGE>
