PURPOSE:To emit output with graduation of good division without causing the peak to be cur partially, by searching peaks of the spectrum in the specified range, making enlarging correction of the range so that the peaks out of the range will be object within a certain allowable values, making the graduation into integers, and correcting the specified region. CONSTITUTION:An output range correcting part 6 makes enlarging correction of the specified range in order to take in peaks out of the range and also makes correction of specified region so as to make the graduation easier to read. First at the coordinates A (x0, y0), B (x1, y1) of two points in the specified region, the number of peaks in the spectrum from x0 to X1 on the X axis and the counting of the peaks are determined. If the counting exceeds y1 and a peak or peaks exist in the range specified by the allowable value alpha(for ex., 0<alpha<1.0), the specified range is subjected to enlarging correction to this range. Then the specified region is corrected so that values on the graduation of the X axis (wavelength of X-rays or location of spectroscope) and the Y axis (counting of X rays are divided in clear cut. |
