PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent color image by erasing selectively an image signal derived from an original by color information derived from the original by a color scanner, and forming and developing colorless and colored latent images on two photosensitive drums. CONSTITUTION:A color image signal light L passes through a lens 15, and irradiates a photosensitive drum 1 through mirrors 16-18 and a filter 12. The light reflected by a mirror 20 stores color information by CCDs 21-23 of three photodetecting parts and filters of red, green and blue, by a color scannter 14. The light reflected by a mirror 19 passes through a filter 12a and irradiates a photosensitive drum 1a. Latent images of a color corresponding to filters 12, 12a are formed on the photosensitive drums 1, 12. Subsequently, with respect to a latent image to be erased, an LED array 3 and 3a are made to emit a light by color information derived by the color scanner 14, and a desired latent image is erased. The remaining latent image is developed 4, 4a, transferred 5, 5a to a transfer material 24, and fixed separately. In such a way, a multicolor image can be obtained easily by replacing a developing device. |
