PURPOSE:To enhance resistances to light, heat, ozone, etc., by laminating an electrostatic charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer contg. a specified azo compd. on a conductive substrate to form an electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on the conductive substrate the charge generating layer made of metal phthalocyanine represented by formula I (R is H, halogen, cyano, or nitro; M is a metal, such as Cu, Ni, or Co; and when M is a bivalent metal, A is absent, when M is a metal higher in valence than 2, A is halogen, and when M has a valence of 4, B is halogen), and on this layer the charge transfer layer made of an azo compd. represented by formula II in which each of R<1> and R<2> is an optionally substd. aryl or optionally substd. heterocyclic group. |
