Control method for combustion engine

A resistor limits the power supplied to incandescent plugs (one in each combustion space) and connected in series with the plug. The resistor may be periodically short circuited or disconnected from the source of power. Alternatively each incandescent plug may be disconnected from the source of power. The rate of switching depends on the tmep. of the incandescent plug or on the fluctuation in energy supply. The method is only applied to a running engine.
