The grab crane for storing crops in agricultural buildings can be pivoted upwards out of a suspended position into a forward front position in that the pull rope 9 is guided over a rope pulley 7 mounted on a pulley box 6 and over a deflecting pulley 4 which is mounted on the free end of a pulley rail 3 rotatable about a shaft 2 at the end of the jib 1. When the pull rope 9 is being tightened, the grab 8 is pivoted out of a suspended position underneath the jib end into a more or less vertical or inclined front position at the jib end. <IMAGE>
