PURPOSE:To enable manufacture of a flexible mandrel excellent in heat resistance, releasability, dimensional stability, durability by compounding hydrocarbon compound and ether compound, which are low in molecular weight, to 4-methyl- 1-pentene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:Hydrocarbon compound and ether compound in which their mean molecular weight lies in a range of 300-500, preferably 300-2,000, especially 500-1,000 are used. In the compounding ratio of at least one compound selected from a group of both hydrocarbon compound and ether compound and 4-methyl- 1-pentene copolymer, the compound selected from the former group is compounded at 2-70wt%, preferably 5-60wt% and more preferably 5-50wt%. Compounds having a compounding ratio smaller than 2wt% are too poor in shock resistance and flexibility to be used as the mandrel. Compounds exceeding 70wt% are poor in heat resistance, releasability, dimensional stability, and durability. |
